Good Friday, April 6

We were very pleased to show new visitors around the High View facilities at the Lambourn Open Day.

Our gates were open to all on Good Friday and we enjoyed a very successful day from our new base in Lambourn meeting many new faces and being entertained by those we already know.

Thanks to everyone who helped us make it a fun day for all. We gained some very favourable feedback when we met with other trainers at the events field in the afternoon – in particular for our very well presented and polite staff. We are so very lucky to have such a great team behind us.

Those who were in the yard at the time watched six of our horses load up for their trip to Musselburgh where we enjoyed great success with a win, two 2nd places, a 3rd place and a 4th. The equine team and lasses all travelled back safely over night on Easter Sunday.

The entertainment on the events field from 1.30pm was as entertaining as always – the bar has been set high in previous years and 2012 was no disappointment with AP McCoy and John Francome teaming up once again in a schooling session with a difference… namely impressions of commentator and presenter Luke Harvey. The Jockey Olympics and camel racing were further highlights.
